Brian Perry is a Limited License mental health counselor licensed in the state of Michigan, along with being licensed as a national certified counselor. Brian earned a Master of Science degree in clinical mental health from the University of the Cumberlands, where he was a member of Chi Psi Omega chapter of Chi Sigma Iota. Brian is also a member of the American Counseling Association. Brian also holds a Masters of Arts degree in Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In practice, Brian provides a holistic approach to mental health, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s individual needs. Brian has not only provided services to adults, but also to couples and first responders. Brian strives to help people reach their full potential and is passionate about helping others. Brian aims to foster a supportive environment where clients can explore the positive elements of their experiences while addressing any distressing thoughts and emotions.
Brian integrates client centered, humanistic, and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches to treat those experiencing depression, anxiety, low self- esteem, relationship challenges, life adjustment, and other emotional distress. He creates a safe, non-judgmental environment that allows clients to be open and collaborate on their goals. Brian recognizes that seeking support is overwhelming, and he focuses on making the journey a safe one, in a non- judgmental environment. His goal is to help clients achieve peace, healing, and a sense of well-being.
