Counseling Services

We have an extensive range of individual, couples and family counseling services that we provide. To achieve positive results we use psychotherapy to increase your sense of well-being while suppressing your subjective sense of discomfort. Psychotherapy is based on an interpersonal relationship between you and your therapist, and is very effective for treating mental health and behavioral issues.
Our standout service is Play Therapy which is a psychotherapeutic approach that helps you express repressed thoughts and emotions through play. Play therapy is most appropriate for children ages 3-12, but is not limited to any age group specifically. The objective of play therapy is to help children and families overcome their problems and to improve their communication amongst each other. Traditional therapy can be rather intimidating for children; whereas, play therapy encourages enjoyment without the sense of feeling interrogated or pressured. As defined by the Association for Play Therapy, “Child play therapy is a way of being with the child that honors their unique developmental level and looks for ways of helping in the “language” of the child – play.”
Treatment specialization includes but is not limited to:
  • ADHD testing
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Trauma (Sexual Abuse, Physical Abuse and Domestic Violence)
  • Marital counseling
  • Grief/Loss
  • Family Transitions/Changes (e.g. Divorce).
  • Family Conflict
Each therapist specializes in certain areas of mental wellness and treatment. To read individual bios please visit our about us page.
