Treatment Focus: Anxiety, Life Transitions, Self-Esteem

Hello, my name is Christina, and I am a therapy intern passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe in meeting people where they are and working collaboratively to help them build confidence, develop practical coping skills, and move toward positive change.

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, with a focus on helping clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while strengthening motivation for growth.

I bring experience from child welfare as well as adult and juvenile corrections, which has given me a deep appreciation for resilience and the complex challenges individuals face when navigating life transitions and systems of care. These experiences allow me to approach each client with empathy, patience, and a nonjudgemental perspective. My goal is to walk with my clients as they identify their strengths, over come obstacles, and crate meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
