Hello!

I am a Limited License Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about understanding systems and the ways they impact our day-to-day lives. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Family Science from the University of Maryland and completed my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Syracuse University. Through my education and clinical experience, I have developed a deep interest in understanding family dynamics and the ways they shape our experiences. I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward achieving their personal and relational goals.

Our identities, relationships, cultures, and experiences all influence the ways we show up in the world. My goal is to help clients better understand these influences and develop greater awareness of how they shape their thoughts, feelings, relationships, and experiences.

I have experience working with teens, young adults, and older adults around a variety of concerns, including relational struggles, low self-esteem, anxiety, ADHD, and life stressors and transitions. My therapeutic approach integrates elements of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I approach therapy from a humanistic, collaborative, and strengths-based perspective, recognizing that each client is the expert on their own life.

As a therapist, my primary goal is to meet clients where they are. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of therapy, and I strive to create an environment grounded in warmth, safety, and trust. Compassion, care, and empathy are central to my practice and guide the way I support each client throughout their therapeutic journey.
