Laura Freeman, LMFT
Ages Seen: 14+
Treatment Focus: Couples, Anxiety, Depression, Families
I work with families, couples, and individuals ranging from ages 14 and up. I use a Strength Based Approach in session, helping you focus more on your personal strengths. Together you and I can build your treatment plan and discuss your goals. My goal is for you to become involved with making the treatment plan so the therapeutic process is successful for you. Throughout my graduate studies I have been trained in multiple therapeutic models.
I am a trained counselor specializing in Marriage and Family therapy. Providing an empathetic and safe space for you is important in my practice. I find giving tasks outside of therapy is a major resource in healing as well.
Prior to getting my Masters in Marriage and Family, I received a Bachelors in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology. I lived in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri for almost 7 years and was a full time Substitute teacher. My spouse served in the military for 9.5 years until he was injured overseas, which taught me how to relate to other military families
