Treatment Focus: Couples, Chronic Pain, Play Therapy, Family Therapy, Trauma/PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Sex Therapy

Hello, my name is Logan Gauthier, and I am currently a graduate student at Spring Arbor University pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027. I am passionate about creating a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals, couples, and families can explore challenges, identify strengths, and work toward meaningful change.

My counseling interests include anxiety, depression, chronic illness, play therapy, couples counseling, and family therapy. I am particularly drawn to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, as I believe both practical skills and a strong therapeutic relationship are essential for growth and healing.

Living with Crohn’s disease has given me personal insight into the emotional challenges that can accompany chronic health conditions. Through my own experiences with therapy, I have developed a deep appreciation for the value of having a safe space to process emotions, manage stress, and navigate life’s difficulties.

In addition to my counseling training, I serve as the Head Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach at Davison High School, where I mentor and support student-athletes in their personal, emotional, and leadership development. This experience has strengthened my ability to build meaningful relationships and foster resilience in others.

I look forward to helping clients of all ages feel heard, supported, and empowered as they work toward their goals.
