Often we face challenges that will stagnate our growth. But with the appropriate connections, we can become empowered to work through the barriers in our day to day lives. I will be honored to aid individuals with navigating the trails of individualized healing and recovery. My goal is to show compassion and empathy, to build and strengthen each therapeutic relationship in a non-judgemental manner. I will demonstrate this by practicing active and reflective listening to make an individual feel heard and understood.
During my journey of helping people reach their full potential, I have experienced working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings. These individuals were challenged with mental illness, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), trauma, domestic violence, grief/loss, relationship/marital issues, and substance abuse. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Master’s in Social Work from Michigan State University.
There is power in connections.
