My philosophy is that healing begins in a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow at their own pace. I believe in supporting the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) while meeting clients where they are and honoring their lived experiences. Through compassion, evidence-based support, and genuine human connection, I strive to collaborate with clients to build on their strengths and help them develop the confidence and skills needed to live their best and most authentic life.
I have been working in the social work field for six years and have experience working with various populations which includes at-risk youth and adults facing challenges such as mental illness, LGBTQ+, depression, anxiety, substance use, emotional dysregulation, childhood trauma, and major life stressors. My work focuses on coping skills development, self-esteem, and personal growth, with a therapeutic approach that is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices. I am deeply committed to helping clients recognize their fullest potential and move toward living a healthier, more fulfilling life.
I am originally from Florida and relocated to Michigan in June 2025. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida A&M University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University.
